REVIEW: the Balm Frat Boy Shadow/ Blush

Blush is really important for me. I know there are some people who can go with blush but for me, it's a necessity. If I don't have blush on my cheeks, I look dead, which is a look that I'm not too keen on. Today, I'm going to review one of my favorite blushes, the Balm Frat Boy Shadow/ Blush.

Frat Boy's Talc- free, finely graded powder formula adds just the right flush so you look pledge perfect around the clock.

My first blush from the Balm was Hot Mama which has received a ton of love from me. It's been one of my most used blushes so far and when I saw Frat Boy, I snapped it right up, expecting it to be just as amazing as Hot Mama.

Frat Boy is a beautiful medium coral- peach color with a very subtle gold micro- shimmer and a slight sheen. The shimmer doesn't translate to your cheeks at all, so if you're anything like me, you won't have to worry about emphasizing your pores.

The Balm did an exceptional job with their blushes and this one is no different! The formula is near perfection- it's soft, smooth and not powdery at all. Dry- skinned beauties will love it because it won't emphasize any dry patches.

The pigmentation of this blush is also very amazing. It has good color payoff in one swipe. You can definitely end up looking like a clown if you go overboard with this baby. The lasting power is great- it lasts for about 6 hours on my combination skin.

I actually really like the cardboard packaging. I know some people hate it, but being the klutz that I am, I can truly appreciate how strudy the packaging is. You can drop it loads of times and the cardboard will absorb all the impact, leaving the product inside just as perfect and untouched as before.

The Balm Frat Boy Shadow/ Blush is priced at USD $21 and it contains 0.30 oz of product, which is considerably more than what other brands may give you (MAC gives 0.21 oz of product in their blushes). It is a little expensive, but the Balm does go on sale with amazing reductions in prices. I definitely recommend that everyone give the blushes by the Balm a go, you certainly won't be disappointed!
