REVIEW: Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade in Ebony
Hola, muchachos! Today, I'm going to be talking about a very hyped up product, the Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade. As soon as this was released, I knew I had to have it. Most brow products that I've used in the past didn't match my super dark brow hairs and after looking at several swatches online, I knew that the darker colors in this range would work for me. Did the ABH Dipbrow Pomade live up to my hopes? We shall see.
WHAT IT CLAIMS
Creamy, waterproof brow color ideal for defining and sculpting precise, smudge- free brows. Use with brush #12 for a completely smooth, effortless application.
WHAT I THINK ABOUT IT
When I initially saw the swatches online, I thought Ebony would be way too dark for me but I took my chances and bought this baby because the other darker colors looked as if they had too much warmth in them. Personally, I think products with ashy tones are perfect for brows. Thank the Lord I got Ebony! It is absolutely perfect and matches my brows amazingly. Although it does look very black in the pot and in some swatches online, you only need the teensy tiniest bit of this sucker and you're good to go!
The ABH Dipbrow is so creamy, it's a dream to work with! It glides on my brows like no other and dries pretty quickly too. Once it's set, it's like cement. I've sweat like a pig while I've had this on my brows and it does not budge! I've read elsewhere that you can even swim in this and it won't come off or smudge. It comes in a selection of 8 different colors.
Application is sweet, it glides on effortlessly and it's super pigmented. You only need like a dot sized amount of this for your entire brow. Too much of it will give you cavemen brows- that's what I ended up with the first time I used this. Using a lot of the Dipbrow will also make filling in your brows a bit tough because if you try to go over it a couple of times, it'll start moving the product and leave you with spaces on your brows, which is not a good look. Paired with the right brush, this product gives a very sharp and precise application. I love to use my MAC 208 brush with it!

I already have a lot of brow hairs, so I don't need to use a lot of this product. However, I have seen girls use this for filling in sparse brows and it works miracles! It's also stated that the ABH Dipbrow Pomade is ideal for those with less brow hairs who want a more fuller brow.
One gripe that I have with this product is that the shade selection isn't amazing. Most of the colors are quite dark and contain a lot of warmth in them, which can look a bit off if you use it to fill in your brows. If there was a larger shade selection, this would be a hit in everyone's books.
Priced at $18 USD, the ABH Dipbrow Pomade is not the cheapest brow product on the market, but it's one that will last you a very, very long time and it has definitely rocked my socks off! The Anastasia Beverly Hill Dipbrow Pomade can be purchased from the following sites:
