MAKEUP TUTORIAL: Neutral Eyes With Full Lashes

Hey, guys! So, I recently posted a makeup look I did on my sister on instagram which got a lot of love. A lot of people requested that I do a product breakdown of everything I used, so I thought, why not blog about it?! So, without any other ado, here is a complete list of all the products I used with details on how I used them. I've also mentioned the things that I used on her face, even though you can't really see it in this picture. I thought I'd put that in here too, just so you know what I used to tie the whole look together.

FOR THE EYES:

- I used the Lime Crime Eyeshadow Helper as a base, followed by the Essence Circus Circus Cream Eyeshadow in the color 02 Raise the Curtain For.

-For this makeup look, I used a mix of shadows from the Original Naked palette and the Vice 2 palette. The colors used include Naked, Buck and Half Baked from the Naked palette and the color Radar from the Vice 2 palette.

-The colors Naked, followed by Buck, were used to warm up the crease. Half Baked was used as an all over lid color and Radar was used in the outer V. I wet my brushes with some eye drops before I used Half Baked and Radar to make the colors appear more metallic.

-As a browbone highlight, I used the Balm's Mary Loumanizer.

-To make the feline cat eye effect more crisp, I used a cotton bud dipped in some makeup remover for cleaning up the edges.

-I did a simple line on the eyelid as the eyeshadow is already quite bold. For this, I used the Inglot AMC Matte Gel Liner in #77.

-For lashes, I used the Ardell Glamour Wispies with some Duo Eyelash Adhesive.

-My sister already has quite nice brows so I didn't need to fill them in too much. I used the Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade in Ebony sparingly.

-For the crease work, I used the Sigma E40. To pack color all over the lid, I used the MAC 239 and for blending out harsh lines, I used the MAC 217.

-I cleaned the under eyes thoroughly with some makeup remover as there was a LOT of fallout. For concealing dark circles, I used the NYX Concealer in a Jar in Orange and a mix of the Make Up For Ever Full Cover Concealer (the shade name isn't mentioned on the packaging, but it's a pink toned concealer) and the MAC Pro Longwear Concealer in NC20. I used a beautyblender to blend everything out flawlessly. To set the concealer, I used the Ben Nye Banana powder.

FOR THE FACE:

-I used the Nars Sheer Glow foundation mixed with a tiny  bit of the L'oreal Infalliable foundation for a satin finish.

-The foundation was set using the Too Faced Primed and Poreless Loose Powder around the T-zone.

-I added a really soft contour using the contour shade from the Sleek Face Contour Kit.

-Since the eyes are already pretty bold, I gave her a soft pink glow using the Milani Baked Blush in Luminoso.

-For highlighting the cheekbones, I used the ever so trusty, the Balm's Mary Loumanizer.

-The brushes I used for the face are: theSigma F80 for foundation and powder, the Real Techniques Blush Brush for blush, the Real Techniques Setting Brush for highlight and the MAC 169 for contouring.

FOR THE LIPS:

-I gave my sister pretty rosy pink lips using the Rimmel London lip liner in 04 Indian Pink followed by the Wet n Wild Megalast lipstick in Rose Bud and a little bit of Milani Color Statement lipstick in 50 Nude Cream.

And that's it! This is the complete makeup look. I hope you enjoyed it! Just remember, you don't have to follow the exact steps and use the same products, you can use whatever you have. If you do recreate this makeup look, don't forget to tag me so I can see! :) x
