REVIEW: Sigma E55 Eye Shading Brush

Today, I'm going to be reviewing a very basic but very essential makeup brush. It's the Sigma E55 eye shading brush.

WHAT IT CLAIMS: Soft and dense bristles. Even application of color. Place color across entire lid for an even and strong application of product.

WHAT I THINK ABOUT IT: There are lots of different makeup brushes out there, especially eye makeup brushes so it can get a bit tricky to decide at times which one to get. The Sigma E55 brush is definitely one of the most basic and foremost for application of eye makeup. I got the little travel sized version, however the full sized one is also available.

The bristles of the brush are very soft and dense. They aren't scratchy at all and one time, when I was doing a client's makeup, she commented on how soft the bristles of this particular brush were. It is a natural haired flat brush with rounded sides so while it's great for applying all over color to the lid, it's also very good at blending out colors. I also like to use this brush to apply highlighter to my cheekbones.

The Sigma E55 brush is very sturdy. I've washed it a couple times and it's not shed a single hair.

PRICE: It is priced at USD $12.

AVAILABILITY: You can purchase this from www.sigmabeauty.com. Use the code JAN2014 for 10% off your order, it's valid till January 31st 2014. You will also get a free gift with orders over USD $30.

YOU'LL LOVE IT BECAUSE:

-It's inexpensive

-It's great quality

-The bristles are soft

-It doesn't shed or bleed

-It's great for all over application of color to the lid

-It is multi functional.

YOU'LL HATE IT BECAUSE:

-You find that international shipping is a bit expensive

OVERALL VIEW: I love this brush, I use it all the time! It's definitely great quality and paired with a smart price, I can't recommend this enough!

Have you tried the Sigma E55 brush? What do you think of it?
