REVIEW: Milani Baked Blush in Corallina

I love blushes! They are just so gorgeous and are really helpful in bringing some life and color to the face. A while back, I purchased the Milani Baked Blush in Corallina. Keep on reading for a full review of this product.

WHAT IT CLAIMS: A luxurious powder blush that features a melange infusion of colors baked on Italian terracotta tiles. Easy to use, sensorial in texture, the nuances of color become extraordinarily luminous. Silky smooth application leaves your face looking healthy and radiant all day.

WHAT I THINK ABOUT IT: These blushes are really, really similar to the MAC MSF blushes at a fraction of the price. I was pleasantly surprised by the Milani Baked Blushes.

I don't like the packaging at all. It's a bit bulky so it's not ideal for travel. The blush is visible through the transparent lid and there's a brush encased in the bottom compartment along with a mirror. I threw away the brush because it was scratchy so that's why it's not been photographed.

Corallina is a beautiful bright coral with white and gold veining through it. It has some really massive chunks of gold and silver glitter. It does look like a glitter bomb has been dropped on your face if you don't buff out the chunky bits of glitter. The glitter has a tendency to emphasize pores as well.

This blush is intensely pigmented! You can't be heavy handed while applying this blush because you will end up looking like a clown. Just one swipe with a blush brush and you will have enough color on your cheeks. It gives my face a gorgeous flush without making me look burnt. For reference, I have medium dark skin with yellow undertones. (around NC30- NC40 in MAC). This blush blends nicely into the skin without looking patchy.

Wear time is really good for a drugstore blush. It lasts for an average of 4- 5 hours on my oily skin and in the humid weather.

PRICE AND AMOUNT: This is priced at $7.99 USD and you get 0.12 oz/ 3.5 grams of product.

AVAILABILITY: I got this from www.beautyarena.pk although I should warn you that they have a very limited stock so I suggest purchasing it from somewhere else. You can also get this from www.milanicosmetics.com or check out your local drugstore.
