REVIEW: Sleek MakeUP Blush in Flushed

Hey, guys. Sorry I have been MIA these past couple of weeks, but as you all know, Ramadan is a very busy time for all of us. Hopefully, after this month, I'll be back on track!

Today, I am going to be reviewing the Sleek MakeUP Blush in Flushed. I've heard some pretty amazing things about Sleek MakeUP's blushes and I knew I had to try them out for myself. Keep on reading to find out what I think of this blush.

WHAT IT CLAIMS: Highly pigmented blushers to brighten and define cheekbones, available in 10 shades. These silky- fine and long lasting blushers create a subtle and radiant glow and suit all skin tones.

WHAT I THINK ABOUT IT: I originally wanted the color Rose Gold since it is one of the most raved about drugstore blushes ever. This color is very popular and because of that, it was out of stock. So, I wound up getting the color Flushed since I'd read reviews that it would give a very natural looking color to your cheeks, almost like you'd been playing in the snow. Who doesn't want to have rosy cheeks like that?!

The packaging is very chic, sleek and travel friendly. Almost too travel friendly in fact, it's hard to open up the little case because it's sturdy and closed so tightly. You might break a nail trying to open it!

Sleek MakeUP blush in flushed can be described as a deep berry shade with red undertones and some micro shimmer. The shimmer does not show up once you apply it. It looks beautiful on my skin tone, which I would describe as between NC30 to NC40. It does give my cheeks a very healthy, rosy color which I love! I imagine it would look even more gorgeous on deeper skin tones, although people with lighter skin tones need to be very careful while applying this blush because you really don't want to overdo it.

This blush is crazy pigmented! It is one of the most pigmented blushes that I've ever come across so far. The texture is also very soft and silky and it so easily blend able. No wonder these blushes are so comparable to the much loved Nars alternatives. You need to be really light handed during application because you don't want to end up looking like a clown. I know the first time I applied the color Flushed to my cheeks. My face looked like a baboon's butt because of how heavy handed I was. Trust me when I say a little goes a long way with these blushes.

I have used this blush a couple of times now, and I am head over heels in love! It lasts incredibly long, even when I don't use a primer and it doesn't have any detectable scent, which I know puts off some people.

Best part about this blush? It's extremely inexpensive! Honestly, you get such a huge amount of product and because you won't even be needing that much to use, it will last you forever.

-It looks good against your skin tone

YOU'LL HATE IT BECAUSE:

  3. I have the blusher in Rose Gold and I absolutely love it! It's a kind of a dupe for Nars' Orgasm for a fraction of the price. It looks gorgeous on my NC30 skin tone & my friends always say I look glowy whenever I wear it
