HAULIN': Dubai Haul Part 1 Makeup & Skincare

Hola, amigos! I've got an amazing haul post for you guys! So, some of you might know that I was on vacation for the past week and I got a chance to splurge on some high- end makeup and skincare brands that I usually wouldn't buy. Want to know about all the goodies that I bought on vacation? Keep on reading, I guarantee you won't be disappointed!

PETRA COSMETICS HAND CREAM, RELAXING SALT SCRUB AND RELAXING BODY BUTTER

I'll be honest and say that I hadn't heard of Petra Cosmetics before I saw their little stand in the mall. I wasn't even going to go near it, but while I was inside Boots Pharmacy, my sister went to take a look. She was very impressed with their scrub and body butter. I, on the other hand, was really sceptical until I tried those two products out. They are absolutely gorgeous! I tried them out on my hands and they instantly made my hands incredibly soft and smooth. Hopefully, I get to try out other things from their line.

SOAP AND GLORY MOISTURIZER, FACE SCRUB AND FACIAL PEEL

Soap and Glory is a wonderful and really feminine brand that everyone adores. I had a chance to go to Boots Pharmacy, and I picked up the Soap and Glory Clear Here T- Zone Oil- Control Daily Moisture Lotion, The Greatest Scrub Of All Facial Exfoliator and The Fab Pore Facial Peel. Boots had a 3 for 2 deal on the skincare products with the cheapest one being free, so I got the facial scrub for free. I have only tried out the facial scrub so far and I am in love. I can't wait to try out the other two products!

BENEFIT GO TROPICORAL KIT AND THEY'RE REAL BEYOND MASCARA

Benefit is an amazing brand and when I went to Sephora, I literally just wanted to buy everything. I had to hold myself back and invested in just the Go TropiCoral kit and They're Real mascara. The kit itself is really nice if you want to try some of the Benefit products but don't want to spend too much money on the full sized products.

URBAN DECAY NAKED PALETTE AND ALL NIGHTER MAKEUP SETTING SPRAY

I have had my eyes on the Naked Palette since I first ventured into makeup, but it is a bit on the pricey side and I never actually saved enough to get it. But, since I was on holiday, I thought why not? I also picked up the setting spray because a few weddings in my family are coming up and I'm definitely going to need my makeup to last a long time.

LAURA MERCIER FOUNDATION PRIMER- OIL FREE

I really wanted to invest in a good face primer because I have large pores and face primer makes them practically invisible. I did a lot of research before I decided to buy this primer. I'm so glad I bought it because it really does an amazing job.

YSL FAUX CILS BABY DOLL MASCARA

The original YSL Faux Cils mascara has been raved about a lot in the beauty community. My sister was the one who actually bought this. She wanted a good mascara and I recommended the original Faux Cils, but the Sales Assistant at Sephora told us that a new formula had come out, and that we should try it. You'll have to wait for a full review on this product, but so far, both me and my sister love this!

MAC POWDER BLUSH, RETRO MATTE LIPSTICK, STUDIO FINISH CONCEALER AND BLOT POWDER

I was so excited when I found out that there's a MAC duty free in the Dubai airport! Things are a lot less cheaper when you buy them from the airport as they are duty free. I initially picked up the retro matte lipstick in Ruby Woo in a MAC store in the Dubai Mall, but I held myself back and reassured myself that I would buy more things from duty free. I'm sure glad I did wait! I picked up the Powder Blush in Fluer Power, Studio Finish Concealer in NC 30 and the Blot Powder in Dark from duty free.

MAKEUP FOREVER HD FOUNDATION:

As I mentioned before, I have a lot of weddings coming up later on and I really needed a good foundation for photography. My Revlon Colorstay is awesome and I love it, but it does contain SPF 6, so it can give a white cast in photos. I want my face to look flawless in the weddings, so I decided to pick this up. Let me tell you, this one is a bestseller! Every Sephora I went to, the shade that I was matched to was sold out. I was just about to give up when I found this on my last trip to Sephora in the Mall of Emirates. YAY!

C.O BIGELOW DR. HIOSOUS QUICE HAND LOTION

While roaming the Dubai Mall, I came across Bath and Body Works and they had a HUGE sale going on at that moment. I went inside and got myself this hand lotion, as my hands were getting a bit drying from staying in air conditioning all day. I got this for a whopping 30 AED on sale and it's originally priced at 70 AED! I think I got pretty lucky that day.

H&M NAIL POLISHES

My sister is a nail polish fanatic. She loves painting her nails and all the nail polishes you're going to see actually belong to her. She bought these two specific colors because they are unlike anything in our collection.

MAX FACTOR GLOSSFINITY NAIL POLISH

Another one of my sister's buys. Again, it's not like anything in our collection, so I'm glad she did buy it.

SEPHORA NAIL POLISHES

My sister finally found something to do while I spent countless hours inside Sephora. She tried on and bought nail polishes. Aren't these colors absolutely gorgeous?!

So, that is it for my makeup and skincare haul. I think I might have missed a couple products here and there, but they're nothing too big so I'll feature them in the second part of my vacation haul. I hope you guys enjoyed this post. Stay tuned for reviews on all of these products, I'm so excited to try them out!
