REVIEW: Revlon Colorburst Lipstick

Hello, my lovely ladies and gentlemen (no bias). Hope you've all had or are having an amazing day. Today, I'm going to be reviewing the Revlon Colorburst Lipstick for you all. I picked up the shade 030 Fuchsia. Read on below to find out what I think of it.

WHAT IT CLAIMS: Luxurious, rich color that feels virtually weightless.

WHAT I THINK ABOUT IT: Wow, Revlon actually made a quite decent claim! Usually, companies love to exaggerate about their products, but this claim actually seems quite realistic.

The product itself is actually quite nice! The packaging is awesome! The lipstick comes in a black tube with a quilted pattern on two of the sides. It has the color of the lipstick on the top of the tube and on the bottom, the number and name of the color is printed on a little sticker of the same color as the lipstick. Revlon always has really chic packaging.

As I mentioned above, I got this lipstick in the color 030 Fuchsia. I didn't really pay close attention to the color of the lipstick when I was buying it, but I was pleasantly surprised when I paid closer attention it. Revlon definitely wasn't kidding around when they named their lipstick, "Colorburst". These babies are gorgeously pigmented! Just about two swipes will make your lips fully opaque. The formula is really smooth and creamy and it really does feel luxurious to put the lipstick on. It doesn't drag on the lips, doesn't sink into fine lines and it definitely isn't drying!

However, with a lipstick this creamy, the lasting power is always an issue. But then again, Revlon didn't make any crazy claims with it's lasting power so I can roll with it. It lasts about 2-3 hours on my lips after which it does need retouching. It fades slightly during eating and drinking.

The Revlon Colorburst Lipsticks also don't have any unpleasant scent to them, so scent sensitive people, this one's for you!

Because the lipsticks are so pigmented, you might face some migration issues, but that's nothing a lipliner won't be able to fix.

030 Fuchsia is a gorgeous vibrant pink shade which instantly brightens up my MAC NC 35- 37 skin tone. In fact, I think this color is a universally flattering color which would look good on anyone. It's too bold for the day time, but at night, this color is absolutely stunning!

There are about 20 shades to choose from in the entire line, which is AWESOME, considering that this is a drugstore product.

PRICE AND AMOUNT: You get 3.7 grams of product for 1150 PKR or $8- 10 USD.

AVAILABILITY: I got this from Scentsation Park Towers, Clifton. You can get this from other Revlon counters as well. For folks in the USA, you can get this from your local drugstore and for people in the UK, you can check out your local Boots.
